At ST2 ManTech Advanced Systems Intl, we're seeking a highly skilled Sr. Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing cutting-edge systems that meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform requirements analysis and decomposition of high-level requirements into artifacts assignable during Agile program increments and sprints
  • Apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems lifecycle phases: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement
  • Interact with project teams regarding systems engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues, or conflicts
  • Communicate with other Technical Direction Plan (TDP) project personnel, Government stakeholders, and senior executives
  • Responsible for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC 15288
  • Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation, such as Systems Engineering Plans, initial capability documents, requirements specifications, and interface control documents

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an IT, Business, Engineering, Math, Science, or related field
  • Five or more (5+) years of related experience
  • If a candidate does not have a degree at all, four (4) additional years of experience are required
  • If a candidate holds an Associate's degree rather than a Bachelor's degree, two (2) additional years of experience are required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in STEM or related discipline
  • Relevant industry standard certifications such as INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP), Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP) or OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional–Advanced (OCSMP-A) certifications
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies

Clearance Requirements:

  • This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
