Established in 1998, Methodist Children's Hospital is the premier facility in San Antonio and South Texas dedicated exclusively to pediatric care, featuring over 200 beds. Our hospital is renowned for its exceptional pediatric services across various specialties, including pediatric heart surgery, pulmonology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and more.

Role Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in the Pediatric CVICU, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care during your shift. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing admission and discharge processes to maintain efficient patient flow.
- Participating in quality assessments of patient care services.
- Collaborating with management and staff to foster a team-oriented environment.
- Implementing strategies to enhance employee engagement and patient satisfaction.
- Assisting in the recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff.
- Managing staff schedules and ensuring compliance with productivity standards.
- Maintaining inventory control and managing supplies effectively.
Qualifications
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Neonate Resuscitation certification within 90 days of hire.
- PALS certification within 90 days of hire.
- Valid Registered Nurse license in Texas or Compact State.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatric Cardiac ICU or Critical Care nursing.
