Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in pediatric cardiac ICU to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, with a focus on pediatric cardiac patients. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to pediatric cardiac patients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs and medical equipment
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Document patient information and progress in electronic medical records
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in Texas or compact state
  • 2+ years of experience in pediatric cardiac ICU or critical care nursing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
