We are in search of a skilled individual to manage a variety of tasks, from straightforward activities to intricate projects. This position entails providing onsite and on-call support to end-users within the desktop computing environment of the organization, ensuring timely and precise service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for first and second-level support, resolving customer issues effectively.
- Respond to client inquiries with professionalism.
- Handle all service requests assigned, adhering to the established service level agreements.
- Achieve customer satisfaction metrics as defined by company policies.
- Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot various operating systems including XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Document all service calls in real-time as per company guidelines.
- Follow established procedures to ensure successful service delivery for each client.
- Manage inventory and assets through timely processing of parts and equipment as per service agreements.
- Communicate promptly regarding the status and resolution of issues.
- Adhere to safety policies and guidelines consistently.
- Maintain updates on all reported incidents.
- Conduct fault diagnosis and resolution for hardware issues.
- Additional responsibilities may arise if employment is offered.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
Technical Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in Windows 7 & 10, and MS Office 2010/2013/2016/365.
- Effective communication skills for discussing technical issues with clients.
- Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
- Perform general maintenance on computers, laptops, and printers.
- Execute repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and other authorized peripheral devices.
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Pass annual background checks.
- Meet agility testing requirements upon hiring and every three years thereafter.
- Possess a broad understanding of IT, including networks, servers, audio/visual systems, smart devices, and telecommunications.
In-depth Knowledge Required:
- Hands-on experience in Networking.
- Familiarity with various Windows operating systems (e.g., XP, Vista, Windows 7, 10).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with Active Directory.
- Ability to perform repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and other authorized equipment.
- Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
- Manage mobile devices, including iOS and Android.
- Support Mac operating systems for Apple PC users.
- Utilize diagnostic tools for troubleshooting network connectivity and workstation hardware/software issues.
- Availability to work off-hours and weekends for projects or emergency support.
Qualifications:
Required:
- A degree in Computer Science or related fields, or relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
Experience:
- 1-2 years in a similar role.
- Willingness to travel as required.
