We are seeking a highly skilled TSCM Specialist to join our team at Parsons Corporation. As a key member of our Federal Solutions team, you will be responsible for providing technical surveillance countermeasure (TSCM) expertise to support our government customers.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain training and certification to comply with DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Training (IAT) II.
- Stay up-to-date with current TSCM and CI policy.
- Develop and maintain compliance with the Journeyman level TSCM Cyber specific training plan and the TSCM standard training requirements.
- Provide recommendations and guidance for customer construction projects.
- Analyze complex physical and technical security issues and provide cost-effective recommendations that meet policy requirements.
- Ensure customer compliance with ICD 705, Physical Security Standards for SCIFs, and DoD standards for collateral areas.
- Identify physical and acoustical security deficiencies and develop corrective actions to mitigate the identified deficiencies.
- Coordinate the actions of teams, projects, and/or initiatives that cover the entire spectrum of mission of the TSCM mission to ensure teams meet, and are consistent with, customer's mission, vision, goals, values, and operational structure, and the organization, mission and goals of the national and DoD CI communities.
- Coordinate TSCM operations; to include internal and external correspondence, resource allocation, and personnel management, inventory control system, training program and policy development (requires extensive coordination and liaison within not only The Client but external to The Client as well with DoD, IC agencies, and the military services).
- Conduct TSCM operations consistent with National and DoD policies governing the employment of TSCM tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Ensure all personnel assigned to the TSCM mission are trained in accordance with National standards for the conduct of TSCM operations.
- Prepare specialized technical risk assessment products, TSCM reports of inquiry, after action reports, tailored briefings, and other administrative communication necessary to support the CI mission.
- Assist Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CTTA) with technical security plans, policy and execution; assess electronic processing equipment for security vulnerabilities.
- Prepare specialized technical risk assessment products, TSCM reports of inquiry, AAR, tailored briefings and administrative communication necessary to support construction project.
- Have telephone security experience (i.e. with Telephone Security Group (TSG) requirements).
- Participate in one equipment specific training and one cyber security training each calendar year.
- Active TS with SCI eligibility and ability to successfully complete a polygraph examination.
- Bachelor's or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 7-10 years' experience with a minimum of 7 years of CI experience, of which at least 3 of those years include TSCM experience.
- Interagency Training Center (ITC) TSCM Fundamentals Course Certification.
- Telephone security experience (i.e. with Telephone Security Group (TSG) requirements).
- Completed TSCM for Information Systems or equivalent course.
- Sec + Certification in accordance with DoD 8140 requirements for Information Assurance Training II.
- A+ and Network + certifications in accordance with DoD 8140 requirements for Information Assurance Training I.
- Possess post-graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Be a credentialed graduate of an accredited federal or DoD CI training academy (ex. FBI Academy, etc.).
