About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Investigations, Compliance & Risk Analyst to join our Risk Advisory team. As a key member of our Investigations, Compliance & Privacy practice, you will work closely with our experts to address complex issues in financial investigations, including those involving financial statement fraud, asset misappropriation, and corruption.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research and analyze complex financial transactions to identify potential compliance issues and fraud.
  • Develop and assess financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF) models, to value companies and estimate litigation damages.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and patterns, and communicate findings to clients and colleagues.
  • Review audit working papers to ensure compliance with professional standards.
  • Prepare expert reports and presentations to clients, and create and manage large data sets.
  • Apply statistical analysis to identify trends and patterns in financial data.
  • Prepare presentation materials and perform quality control review over work product.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, or related field; Master's degree desirable.
  • Minimum of four years' of work experience preferred, with a strong background in financial analysis and compliance.
  • Certified Public Accountant certification preferred, with a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present complex financial information to clients and colleagues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint, with a strong understanding of financial modeling and data analysis.
