Background Investigator

Watermark Risk Management International, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Background Investigator to support the Architect of the Capitol personnel security program. As a Background Investigator, you will conduct federal background investigations and prepare reports of investigation in compliance with Federal Investigative Standards, laws, and agency regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct in-person and/or phone interviews to gather information about an individual's background and character.
- Obtain information from various personal and record sources to produce a comprehensive report of investigation.
- Travel may be required to conduct interviews or obtain records.
- Complete background investigations and reports within specified timelines.
- Safeguard sensitive information, including Privacy Act Protected Information and Classified National Security Information.
- Current Top Secret personnel security clearance and ability to maintain such clearance.
- Minimum of five years of investigation experience, preferably seven years.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
