Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified Nursing Faculty - Clinical Educator to join our team at Adtalem Global Education. As a Clinical Nursing Professor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring nursing students in a clinical setting, while also contributing to the development and implementation of our nursing programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Evidence-Based Teaching and Learning
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the College's philosophy and accreditation standards
- Design and deliver high-quality educational experiences that promote student learning and engagement
- Assess student learning outcomes and make data-driven decisions to improve teaching and learning
- Clinical Practice and Education
- Develop and maintain relationships with clinical partners to provide high-quality clinical experiences for students
- Design and implement clinical experiences that align with program outcomes and accreditation standards
- Provide direct and indirect supervision of students in clinical settings
- Professional Development and Service
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in nursing education
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing programs and services
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote a culture of excellence and student success
- Scholarship and Service
- Engage in scholarly activities that promote nursing education and practice
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing research and scholarship
- Participate in service activities that promote the College and the nursing profession
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing required
- Professional nurse licensure required
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience working in a clinical setting
- Prior teaching experience in a nursing program
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
