Associate Professor of Nursing

The University of California, Davis, is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a tenure-track position as an Associate or Full Professor in the Department of Nursing. This is an exciting opportunity for a scholar with a strong research program to join our faculty and contribute to the advancement of nursing education and practice.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to teach graduate-level nursing courses, mentor doctoral students, and conduct research in areas that align with the department's priorities. The candidate will also be expected to participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and outreach activities.
Requirements
A PhD or other doctorate (or equivalent international degree) in nursing or a related field is required. The candidate must have a strong research program, with a track record of extramural funding and publication in top-tier journals. The candidate must also have experience in teaching and mentoring graduate students, as well as a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing research, with expertise in areas such as health promotion, disease prevention, and health disparities. The candidate should also have experience in interdisciplinary collaboration, with a track record of working with faculty from other departments and institutions. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring, with a focus on preparing students for careers in nursing and healthcare leadership.
