Job Summary

Geisinger Health is seeking a skilled Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Pediatric ICU team. As a valued member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and diagnostic studies.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in unit-based decision-making and contribute to evidence-based practice.
  • Precept and mentor new staff and students in a professional and positive manner.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
  • Current and/or prior PICU or inpatient pediatrics experience preferred.
  • Basic Life Support Certification and Licensed Practical Nurse licensure required.
