Job Summary

Geisinger Health is seeking a full-time Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Pediatric ICU team. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments, and performing diagnostic studies.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in unit-based decision-making and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Experience in pediatric ICU or inpatient pediatrics preferred.
