Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Admissions Counselor to join our team at Grafton Job Corps. The successful candidate will be responsible for the recruitment and arrival coordination of Job Corps students, identifying and developing beneficial partnerships that lead to student success, and ensuring the integrity of student data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and enroll students in the Job Corps program
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with community agencies and organizations
  • Conduct comprehensive screening procedures to determine applicant eligibility and suitability
  • Secure and evaluate applicants' behavioral, medical, and educational records
  • Deny applicant enrollment and refer applicants to other educational resources
  • Conduct thorough assessment activities and career counseling during the admissions process
  • Serve as a liaison to Center staff to facilitate a seamless enrollment process and early student retention
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or a closely related field
  • Two years of related experience
  • Valid state driver's license and meet Company insurability requirements
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or a closely related field
  • Experience in successful Job Corps enrollment or other youth development programs
