Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with the patient care team to provide high-quality patient care and advocacy.
  • Work with referral sources to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Evaluate, adjust, assemble, set-up, instruct, and maintain high-tech equipment.
  • Assist referral sources in planning and implementing patient care.
  • Perform initial patient evaluations and ongoing patient assessments and measurements.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in patient medical records.
  • Provide education to patients and caregivers on proper use and care of equipment.
  • Clean, sterilize, check, and maintain all equipment and accessories.
  • Inventory and order equipment and supplies.
  • Travel to facilities and patient homes to provide services.
  • Provide clear and compassionate communication with the patient care team.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of mobility experience or successful completion of factory training for HME.
  • RESNA Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) certification preferred.
  • Home health experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Driver's License with a clean driving record for 3 years.
