Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing heavy equipment, including haul trucks, water trucks, and other machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair of heavy equipment
  • Remove, repair, and install transmissions, engines, brakes, and other heavy equipment systems or components
  • Perform mechanical and lubrication preventative maintenance on machine systems
  • Prioritize and make decisions regarding equipment repair
  • Responsible for maintaining work orders and performing work area inspections
  • Operate mobile equipment, such as overhead cranes and forklifts

Requirements:

  • Two years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic
  • Ability to prioritize repairs and possess excellent decision-making skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot machine systems
