Job Title: Project Geologist, Scientist, or Engineer

At Universal Engineering Sciences, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Geologist, Scientist, or Engineer to join our Environmental Department in Wichita, KS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple environmental projects, including Phase I/II environmental site assessments, comprehensive site investigations, groundwater monitoring, and environmental remediation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage field geologists, scientists, and technicians to ensure safe and quality execution of projects.
  • Develop work plans and project schedules to meet client requirements and regulatory agency procedures.
  • Prepare technical reports and ensure compliance with client and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Build client relationships and prepare bids to secure new projects.
Requirements:
  • BS degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
  • A minimum of 4 years of environmental consulting experience, with a strong focus on soil and groundwater assessments.
  • Excellent technical writing skills and experience with project report writing.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, with a current 8-hour refresher.
  • Experience supervising staff and programs.
  • Professional license, or ability to obtain one.
