Position Purpose

The Medical Waste Route Driver is a critical role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of medical waste to designated facilities. This position requires a high level of customer service, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding our company's values and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned routes to ensure timely and accurate waste pickup and delivery
  • Transport medical waste from customer locations to transfer or processing facilities, adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations
  • Prepare and load trucks for daily routes, ensuring sufficient supplies and equipment are on board
  • Unload trucks at designated sites, securing waste and materials as required
  • Provide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with customers and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation, including DOT Driver Logs, in a legible and accurate manner
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
