Accounting Instructor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Accounting courses at South Louisiana Community College. The successful candidate will have a Master's Degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Accounting and experience in teaching Accounting or a related field in higher education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach assigned Accounting courses (50% of time)
  • Prepare course materials, hold office hours, prepare and grade examinations, input grades, and maintain class records (50% of time)

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Accounting
  • Experience in teaching Accounting or a related field in higher education

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate hours in Accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Accounting or a related field in a higher education setting

Additional Requirements:
