We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Industrial Hygienist to join our team at Witt O'Brien's. As a key member of our global response team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level industrial hygiene services to support our clients in emergency response situations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct qualitative and quantitative industrial hygiene surveys, air sampling, and noise monitoring to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Develop and implement site-specific health and safety plans to ensure a safe working environment for our clients and their personnel.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior industrial hygienists and environmental scientists to ensure the highest level of quality and expertise.
- Collaborate with our emergency response team to provide industrial hygiene support during crisis situations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their industrial hygiene needs and provide tailored solutions.
- 5-10+ years of experience in industrial hygiene, with a focus on emergency response and global operations.
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification.
- Advanced computer and data management skills, including MS Office 365 and SharePoint.
- Ability to obtain a passport and travel globally as needed.
- Completion of all job-specific OSHA training and ability to comply with all job-specific OSHA requirements.
- HAZWOPER certification.
- DISA clearance.
- Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds several times a day.
- Overhead lifting of over 20 pounds.
- Bending, stooping, climbing ladders, and crawling.
- Long hours involving overtime and weekends as necessary.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work in a setting with potential physical and chemical hazards.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including respirators and partially or totally encapsulating personal protective equipment.
