Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer to join our team in Technical Services. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for providing specialized expertise in variable frequency drive (VFD) and control engineering at site and remotely.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of field engineering experience in power conversion, with a strong understanding of power distribution, power electronic, and rotating machine products. You will work closely with clients and other internal contacts to resolve on-site issues and provide technical support.

Your responsibilities will include performing preventative maintenance on client equipment, analyzing failures using remote diagnostics tools, and reporting any errors or deficiencies to the factory. You will also be required to troubleshoot, isolate, repair, and replace defective components.

In addition, you will update the CRM tool with case information, draft service advisories, and submit field service reports to clients. A bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or related engineering is required, along with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

The salary range for this position is $80,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience. The company offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
