JOB SUMMARY
As a Community Engagement Support Specialist at One More Child, you will play an essential role in organizing and executing meal packing events and other impactful initiatives. Your responsibilities will include attending events, assisting delivery personnel, loading and unloading supplies, transporting items to designated locations, setting up for events, and performing various related tasks.
Position Schedule: This PRN role offers flexibility, with schedules typically provided six weeks in advance. Preparatory tasks usually occur on Fridays or weekdays, while events are predominantly scheduled on weekends, occasionally requiring day trips or overnight stays.
Travel Requirements: Events may involve short day trips or overnight stays of up to four nights, primarily during weekends.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborating effectively with the Engagement Initiatives team to ensure seamless event execution.
- Assisting in the leadership of events and the coordination of necessary supplies.
- Transporting supplies to event locations and managing logistics.
- Providing on-site assistance during events.
- Organizing and maintaining inventory of event supplies.
- Completing additional tasks as assigned to support Engagement Initiatives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum requirement: High school diploma or GED
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience in coordinating volunteer events.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Physical Requirements: This position requires occasional lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods. Vision capabilities are essential for driving, and the ability to travel for events is crucial.
This role may involve occasional stress, necessitating focus and adherence to deadlines.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Tasks are typically performed in warehouse and travel settings, including transportation to various locations.
