Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Coordinator Specialist to join our team at Northwell Health.

The successful candidate will provide pre-surgical documentation for physicians and instructions for patients, ensuring seamless coordination of surgical procedures.

This critical role involves:

  • Obtaining all necessary documentation
  • Communicating operating time, place, and instructions to patients
  • Preparing patient charts for physicians' review the day before surgery and office hours
  • Responding to patient inquiries related to surgery
  • Acknowledging job responsibilities as liaison between patients and physicians regarding surgery
  • Scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, performing office-related duties as needed

To be considered for this position, you must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of relevant experience.
