Job Title: NESC Inspector

Mountain Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled NESC Inspector to join our team in the Hillsboro / McMinnville, OR area.

Job Duties

The NESC Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all client underground and aerial plant facilities meet current NESC standards through auditing all NESC inspections and corrections work performed by contractors. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing imminent danger Priority A condition violations
  • Performing preliminary inspections, identifying corrections, and issuing corrections to approved contractors/engineers/arborists
  • Auditing correction work or rework and reporting completed corrections
  • Managing foreign-owned Pole Transfers (PTs)
  • Documenting inspections, audits, and pole transfers electronically
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Computer literacy, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and strong verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in a technical environment with complex methods and procedures
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and conscientious work habits
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with little supervision
