About the Role...
At Cogir of Queen Anne, we are looking for dedicated and empathetic Medication Care Partners to enhance the lives of our senior residents. As a key member of our community, you will provide essential support and care, ensuring that our residents receive their medications and treatments in a safe and respectful manner.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Administering medications to residents, ensuring adherence to their personalized care plans.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and promptly reporting any changes in resident health status.
- Coordinating with pharmacies for medication orders and deliveries.
- Keeping medical records and medication files updated and organized.
- Offering compassionate assistance with daily living activities as part of a collaborative team.
- Encouraging resident independence and providing emotional support through engagement and companionship.
- Facilitating participation in life enrichment activities to enhance resident well-being.
- Fostering open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
What We Are Looking For:
- A positive attitude and a passion for working with seniors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred experience of at least one year in caregiving.
- Current HCA or CNA certification, or willingness to obtain.
- First Aid and CPR certification or the ability to acquire it.
- Willingness to obtain Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Specialty Certificates.
- Previous experience in Independent Living, Assisted Living, or Senior Living settings is a plus.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
