Job Summary:

As an Inventory Specialist at Walgreens, you will be responsible for executing and monitoring inventory best practices and standard operating procedures for the entire store, including both front end and pharmacy. This role requires attention to detail, ability to multitask and manage execution, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and coach team members on warehouse and vendor inventory management processes, including creating, reviewing, and receiving orders.

• Scan in all deliveries while the vendor is still in the store, including common carrier deliveries, and focus on One Box receiving.

• Verify all pharmacy shipments are posted for products physically received at the store and complete or verify postings of all pharmacy warehouse orders, ABC prescription and OTC orders daily.

• Complete On-Shelf Availability (OSA) end-to-end process, including warehouse and direct store delivery (DSD) for planogrammed departments, executing disposals, call-ins, and vendor returns before expiration.

• Maintain accurate inventory counts and accuracy of on-hand quantities in pharmacy and complete pharmacy smart counts.

• Ensure the store maintains inventory compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.

Requirements:

• One year of prior retail work experience with knowledge of inventory management practices.

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

• Must have a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multitask and manage execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a shift lead, pharmacy technician, designated hitter, or customer service associate.

• Prior work experience with Walgreens, with an evaluation on file.
