We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at Synerfac.
Our client is a leading plastic extrusion supplier in the state, specializing in custom profiling for various clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of skilled electrical, mechanical, and electronic repairs to facilities, machinery, and equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing troubleshooting operations to diagnose equipment issues and taking necessary action to affect repairs and/or adjustments
- Making set-ups and adjustments on production equipment
- Performing maintenance, testing, inspection, and repair functions
- Entering hours in a CMMS system daily and signing out inventory to work orders
- Changing motors and reading wiring diagrams
- Changing drive chains and adjusting chain breaks and different chain links
- Testing fuses
- Reading electrical and mechanical prints/blueprints
Requirements include:
- Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance, including 480V and 3-phase motors
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- Knowledge of a voltmeter, voltage, current, and resistance
- Understanding of gearboxes, bearings, seals, mechanical drives, power transmission, water pumps, and gear pumps
- Technical school training or relevant experience, State of Ohio certification in mechanical maintenance or equivalent (preferred)
- Strong computer knowledge
- Heavy lifting ability
