Job Summary

PrideStaff is seeking a skilled Certified Electrician and HVAC/Maintenance Lead to oversee the maintenance operations of properties in the portfolio. This regional position requires a strong background in facilities management and experience supervising a maintenance team in a residential/community setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement an effective maintenance program to protect and maintain properties, and build and maintain effective working relationships with residents and staff.
  • Ensure all building operating systems are properly maintained and compliant with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with Property and Maintenance Manager to create a monthly preventative maintenance schedule to maximize the use of on-site maintenance technicians.
  • Supervise on-site maintenance staff and outside vendors to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Administer budgets, contracts, purchases, and requisitions related to ongoing capital or maintenance projects.
  • Develop and implement plans, systems, and procedures for building maintenance and improvements to enhance operating efficiency and maximize cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure and verify all required work permits and authorizations are in place for in-house and contracted work prior to commencement.
  • Oversee the purchasing, inventory controls, and supply inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Prepare and submit budget recommendations to continually evaluate and improve building operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience supervising a maintenance team in a residential/community setting.
  • Minimum of 5 years property maintenance technician experience.
  • Must be available for weekend inspections and weekday evening resident meetings, as necessary.
  • Must be available to respond to emergencies at the property.
  • Must have reliable transportation for on-call emergencies.
  • EPA and HVAC Certification (Preferred).
