Ecohouse Solar, a leading provider of renewable energy solutions, is seeking a skilled Solar Electrician to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. As a key member of our field crew, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of residential and commercial PV systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review electrical drawings and site-specific designs to prepare for construction
  • Install DC wiring, junction boxes, conduit, inverters, combiner boxes, disconnects, and AC wiring
  • Interconnect systems by way of back feed breakers and line side taps
  • Troubleshoot new and existing systems
  • Perform additional electric work, such as installation of subpanels or replacement of main service panels
  • Ensure compliance with National Electric Code and jurisdictional requirements
Requirements:
  • Ability to lift in excess of 60 lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, including pitched roofs, as well as, confined spaces, such as attics and crawlspaces
  • Safety conscious - must be comfortable enforcing safety rules with everyone, including supervisors, customers, and co-workers
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operation and maintenance instructions, blueprints and schematic drawings, and procedure manuals
  • Must hold valid driver's license with clean driving record and pass a criminal background check
