Key Responsibilities:


Oversees a designated portfolio of commercial loans while actively pursuing new lending opportunities from both current clients and external prospects, with production targets established by the department head.


Identifies and refers promising commercial loan prospects to senior loan officers as needed; fosters and nurtures relationships with existing clients and centers of influence (COIs); and communicates information regarding lending products and policies.


Collaborates with credit department portfolio managers to gather and monitor information necessary for loan renewals, modifications, and updates on watch loans.

Engages closely with senior loan officers and clients throughout the entire process, from initial engagement to closing. Clarifies loan terms and conditions and evaluates loan specifics to ascertain eligibility in accordance with the Bank's policies and procedures. Identifies and investigates opportunities for new business.

Participates in client meetings, conducts site assessments, and attends industry networking and social events.


Assists in drafting loan proposals and presents recommendations to the relevant loan committee for endorsement; structures commitments as directed by the committee, managing the transaction through appraisal, closing, and booking phases.

Conducts necessary follow-ups with clients as required.

Monitors exception reports for all loan officers and contacts clients to secure necessary documentation.

Applies a comprehensive understanding of the Bank's offerings, policies, and procedures to all commercial lending activities.

Qualifications:


A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a business-related discipline such as business administration or finance is required.

A minimum of two years of experience in commercial lending with direct client engagement is preferred.
