Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care in an ambulatory clinic setting
  • Assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments
  • Administer screening tests to patients
  • Provide patient education as directed
  • Report significant changes in patient condition to the Physician
  • Follow through with pharmacy refills, scheduling out of clinic procedures, and obtaining lab results
Requirements:
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • Must be obtained prior to start completion of a Medical Assistant Program or 1 year of Medical Assistant Experience or current RN/LPN license

Work Environment:

This role is located at the Avenues Women's Center with a secondary location at the Bountiful Clinic. The schedule is 36 hours/week, Full time, Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with one rotating day off.
