Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical First Assistant to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons during surgical procedures, providing support and maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care, including preparing patients for surgery and assisting with recovery.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail, adhering to strict standards of patient confidentiality and safety.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Current certification as a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSA) through the National Commission for the Certification of Surgical Assistants (NCCSA), Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), or Surgical Assistant-Certified (SA-C) through the American Board of Surgical Assistants (ABSA).
