Quality Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Control Specialist to join our team at The Chamberlain Group Inc. This role is a key part of our Manufacturing Production group, where you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of manufactured products to ensure they meet established construction, aesthetic, and operational standards.
- Perform quality control checks electronically within our ERP system.
- Carry out quality assessment measures of all products ready to be shipped.
- Reject all non-conforming products before they ship to the customer.
- Record inspection results by completing forms and inputting data into a quality database.
- Maintain awareness of Engineering and process changes that affect product quality.
- Immediately report re-occurring quality issues to Management.
- Update QC knowledge by participating in educational opportunities sponsored by the company.
- Ensure jigs/tools have been returned to the correct storage location at the end of each day.
- Ensure proper placement of all warning decals.
- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules.
- Protect the company's reputation by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reading professional publications.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
Requirements:
- No minimum education required.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read tape measure and blueprints.
- Ability to always follow instructions and processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, and feel.
- Ability to climb and balance.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to see, talk, and hear.
- Preferred: Robotic welding certification.
