Position Summary:
The EDI Customer Operator/CSR plays a crucial role in managing incoming and scheduled orders while ensuring optimal inventory and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately process EDI 850 & 860 transactions using Exenta.
  • Review and manually enter non-EDI customer orders into our ERP system.
  • Facilitate effective communication across departments, particularly with Sales Support and Distribution Center teams.
  • Address allocation concerns in collaboration with the sales support team.
  • Ensure timely outbound shipments by monitoring all orders.
  • Prioritize warehouse operations as necessary.
  • Assist internal users with order revisions and EDI-related inquiries.
  • Resolve order discrepancies and support vendor chargeback investigations.
  • Conduct daily reviews of reports detailing order issues and aged orders.
  • Provide assistance to various accounts regarding order status, cancellations, and revisions.
  • Respond to requests from sales and DC teams related to pick tickets.
  • Maintain Cross Reference databases.
  • Generate Critical Item Reports to identify potential backorders.
  • Review e-commerce orders from direct-to-consumer platforms.
  • Maintain consistent communication with the sales team regarding discrepancies and order information.
  • Update customer profiles, including addresses and special instructions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support company operations.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business, specifically in Order Management and EDI processing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with skills in data management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to work effectively under pressure.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating good work habits.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively on multiple assignments.

Work Environment:
This is an onsite position, emphasizing teamwork and collaboration to achieve our goals.
