The Software Product Manager will be responsible for identifying, organizing, prioritizing, and evaluating tasks for a software delivery team.

This role is based with National Indemnity Company and involves a hybrid work model. Please note that this position does not qualify for employer visa sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with essential stakeholders to establish objectives and develop an execution strategy for projects.
  • Translate product initiative requirements into actionable user stories for the development team.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to software product delivery teams.
  • Assist the Scrum Master in addressing obstacles that may hinder the team's success.
  • Maintain regular communication with Program and Portfolio Managers, internal stakeholders, project sponsors, and other technology teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Business Team Manager, Project Manager, or Scrum Master.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Understanding of software development practices and procedures.
  • Experience with application lifecycle management tools like DevOps, JIRA, or Rally.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in business analysis or project management.
  • Knowledge of continuous delivery and integration practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution abilities.
  • Familiarity with the insurance industry and product knowledge.
