Position Summary and Qualifications
We are in search of a Registered Nurse for our CV Intensive Care Unit to ensure we maintain high-quality, efficient care for all patients.
Our team is exceptional, working collaboratively to support one another, and we are looking for a remarkable addition who shares our commitment to meaningful patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional nursing care and related support to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients facing critical health challenges requiring unit admission.
- Provide leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing and other patient care team members to uphold professional nursing standards in the clinical environment.
- Delegate nursing tasks based on patient needs and the qualifications of the assigned personnel.
- Oversee the daily operations of the unit, including staffing and scheduling responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in an acute care setting.
- Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Texas RN License must be obtained within 90 days of hire for those with a Compact License).
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
- Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification.
