Key Responsibilities- Conduct site visits at multiple clinical practicum locations, typically once per 8-Week Session per site, to evaluate the quality of education and training provided to our students.
- Exhibit Chamberlain Care by displaying behaviors of care, respect, and professionalism, creating a culture that fosters collaboration, cooperation, and respect among all.
- Be readily available to meet the needs of a diverse student body, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Identify and embrace opportunities to enhance student engagement, reaching out to students in need and responding quickly to requests for help.
- Bring your professional experience to life through professional development, introducing industry perspective into courses, and sharing information about nursing trends and opportunities with students.
- MSN and DNP or PhD in nursing degree required.
- Must have an active unencumbered Louisiana RN nursing license.
- Must have an active unencumbered Louisiana APRN nursing license.
- National certification through the AANP or ANCC required for AGAC.
- Must have reliable transportation with availability and willingness to travel to a variety of clinical practicum sites throughout the region, typically one site visit per 8-Week Session for each designated location, typically during weekday/daytime hours.
- A minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably at the graduate level; online teaching experience highly preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing practice in a clinical setting is required.
- Must have required subject matter expertise in the course of instruction.
- Faculty must have excellent communication, motivational, and instructional skills in a diverse and non-traditional environment.
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected compensation rate for this position is between $850/Earned Credit Hour to $1,950/Earned Credit Hour, depending on the candidate's education and experience. Actual pay may be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law.
