Precision Tooling Specialist

At Monroe Tool and Die, Inc, we are seeking an experienced Precision Tooling Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality tooling solutions for our clients.
About the Role:
- We are looking for a skilled professional with experience in tool and die repair, maintenance, and fabrication.
- You will be responsible for reviewing drawings, blueprints, and instructions to understand the specifications of output products.
- In this role, you will also plan the sequence of necessary actions for job completion, take precise measurements, and select appropriate machines for material cutting or shaping.
- Additionally, you will perform routine repairs, minor damages, die tooling, sharpening, and maintain good housekeeping in your work area.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have the ability to sharpen and reset forms accurately.
- Experience in using manual, semi-automated, or automated tools and machines is required, especially presses.
- You should be able to use precision tools for accurate measurements and read drawings and manuals effectively.
- Able-bodied candidates who can lift heavy items when needed are preferred.
- The ideal candidate should possess self-discipline and be able to work with minimal supervision.
Benefits and Compensation:
- We offer a competitive hourly rate ranging from $30.00 to $35.00 per hour for certified professionals and $21.00 to $26.00 per hour for non-certified individuals.
- Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, 401(k) matching, and more.
- You will enjoy a 40-hour workweek (7:00 am to 3:30 pm) with no weekends and a stable schedule.
