Apartment Service Technician Job Summary

Lion Real Estate Group, LLC is seeking a skilled Apartment Service Technician to join our team at two of our owner-managed multifamily properties. As a key member of our community's maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the day-to-day impression on existing and prospective residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all company maintenance policies and procedures are followed
  • Perform quality control checks of all final products, including unit turns, preventive maintenance, and rehab projects
  • Walk the community daily and inspect vacant apartments
  • Complete service requests in a timely and cost-efficient manner
  • Address all emergency service requests in a timely fashion, including on-call emergencies
  • Assist in maintaining and repairing structural, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical issues, including rehab units
  • Prioritize service requests and unit turns
  • Paint and turn vacant units, including rehab units
  • Clean and repair swimming pools
  • Ensure the physical well-being and curb appeal of the apartment community, including grounds cleanliness
  • Ensure all work assignments are completed according to Company standards
  • Assist with move-in and move-out procedures
  • Bring all resident issues to the attention of office personnel and inform community managers of any issues observed in housing units
  • Work together with the service team to keep on-site shops in order
  • Coordinate with the supervisor to order supplies while maintaining the appropriate expense budget allotted per community
  • Work collaboratively with the supervisor to prepare for all city and internal property inspections
  • Ensure Company Safety Program and OSHA safety requirements are being followed and conduct routine property safety inspections
  • Maintain annual fair housing certification for maintenance (via Gracehill)
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance according to required work schedule decided by the Company, including being available for on-call on weeknights and weekends
  • Provide exemplary customer service to residents, prospects, and guests and represent the Company in a professional manner at all times
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year residential maintenance or related experience
  • 1+ year of experience in multifamily property management highly preferred
  • HVAC/EPA Certification preferred
  • Must Have Valid Driver's License

Posted pay range is negotiable. ($25-$27/hour)
