Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Thomas Safran and Associates, Inc. in Koreatown, CA. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, completing work orders, and ensuring the overall upkeep of our apartment community.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and turn units for move-ins (make ready)
  • Complete typical apartment work orders
  • General preventative maintenance and unit inspections
  • Exterior property maintenance, sidewalk grinding and landscaping vendor supervision
  • Minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs and troubleshooting
  • Replacement and repair of household appliances and items (i.e. refrigerator, stoves, sinks, drains, toilets)
  • Opportunity to do basic welding, minor HVAC repair and special projects
  • Light cleaning and pickup of grounds in accordance with safety and sanitizing protocols
Requirements
  • High School diploma/GED
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience in facilities maintenance, hotel or apartment community experience (preferred but not required)
  • General maintenance, plumbing and electrical skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills and communication skills
  • Warm, outgoing personality
