As a Culinary Operations Supervisor, your responsibilities will include product preparation and creation, supervising and training kitchen personnel, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards, and managing inventory and ordering processes.

This role combines managerial duties with hands-on tasks, requiring you to be actively engaged in maintaining the highest standards for our products at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

In collaboration with the Head Kitchen Manager, you will:

  • Oversee food production processes.
  • Train, manage, and develop all kitchen staff members.
  • Schedule kitchen personnel based on labor forecasts and budgetary constraints.
  • Foster a strong team dynamic between the kitchen and front-of-house staff.
  • Ensure adherence to recipe guidelines for consistent quality, proper presentation, and food safety standards.
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality.
  • Uphold a safe and sanitary work environment by meeting all safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Educate kitchen staff on sanitation practices and establish cleaning and stock rotation schedules, temperature control points, and other sanitary measures.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly inventories of food and supply products.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred 5 years of culinary experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Ability to provide clear and concise instructions.
  • Adaptability to changing circumstances and effective change management.
  • Professionalism in challenging situations.
  • Capability to work independently, multitask, and organize work effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
