Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled H hardware Product Development Manager to lead our efforts in designing and implementing innovative mechanical systems for our Frontline Wildfire Defense System.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize system performance: Utilize your expertise to refine the controller and water distribution systems, ensuring seamless communication between components.
  • Technical support and training: Collaborate with operations and channel partners to provide comprehensive technical assistance and develop detailed professional drawings.
  • Product development: Drive the creation of new products within our protection systems portfolio, including hydraulic systems, electronic controllers, sensors, cameras, and communication peripherals.
  • Research and testing: Conduct research, testing, and validation of improved components and design concepts to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience: In mechanical design or a similar engineering role, preferably with some leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's degree: In mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Travel requirements: Ability to travel throughout California and the Bay Area for job sites.
  • Preferred skills: Experience in consumer electronics design and hydraulic/fluids experience.
