Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all technical and managerial tasks associated with assigned projects.

  • Act as a principal advisor to diverse multi-functional teams engaged in complex project initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough reviews, analyses, and evaluations of project development, progress, and performance metrics.
  • Manage requirements and design trade-offs while assessing overall risks and acquisition activities related to the assigned program.
  • Identify and justify resource needs for effective life-cycle management of the program.

Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be deemed suitable for federal employment.
  • Participation in the direct deposit pay program is mandatory.
  • New hires must successfully complete the E-Verify employment verification check.
  • Willingness to accept a supervisory role is required.
  • This position may necessitate travel to various locations, including remote or isolated sites.
  • Ability to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended durations is essential.
  • Completion of ethics orientation within three months of appointment is required.
  • Submission of a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report within 30 days of appointment is mandatory.
  • This position is classified as a Critical Acquisition Position (CAP) and requires signing a three-year tenure agreement.
  • Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area is required within established timeframes.
  • Must obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to starting the role.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test is required.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must include:
  • Reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating project development and performance.
  • Providing program guidance and making project decisions.
  • Developing program objectives and policies.
