You will utilize specialized equipment such as forklifts, shrink wrappers, and RF scan guns to efficiently manage inventory and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive incoming shipments of goods, verifying quantities and condition against documentation.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products throughout the warehouse.
  • Organize and store inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and rotation of stock.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, accurately loading and securing products for transport.
  • Utilize RF scan guns to track inventory movements and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for clear communication and understanding of instructions.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Material Handler in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience operating forklifts (both stand-up and sit-down models).
  • 2+ years of experience using RF scan guns for inventory management.
  • Basic computer skills for entering shipping/receiving documents.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
Work Environment:

The Material Handling Specialist will work primarily in a warehouse setting. The environment may vary in temperature depending on the season and could be humid during summer months. Concrete floors can be slippery, especially when wet. Intact senses of sight (with corrective lenses if needed), hearing, and vision are essential for this role.
