Job Overview:


The Sales Associate at GATE ensures that customer service remains the top priority by delivering a friendly and efficient experience for all guests. You will assist customers in locating products and provide them with relevant product information. Responsibilities also include maintaining cleanliness and organization within the store, performing minor maintenance on store equipment, and processing transactions at the register.

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old to support the sale of age-restricted products.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check is required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and comprehending the English language to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to bend, kneel, stoop, and reach overhead.

Job Knowledge:

The ideal candidate should possess basic mathematical skills to accurately handle cash and compute change. Strong customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to gain product knowledge through training to assist customers effectively.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Working a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and split shifts.
  • Arriving at work on time and in proper uniform.
  • Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.
  • Performing minor repairs and maintenance on store and pump equipment.
  • Greeting customers and assisting them in locating products.
