Delivery Equipment Specialist

The Warrior Service Company is seeking a skilled Delivery Equipment Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering and installing durable medical equipment (DME) to Veteran homes in the Tacoma and Seattle, WA area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review work orders and documents delivery route, conducting phone calls to schedule delivery and pick-up of DME and supplies.
- Locate products within the warehouse and load vehicles with DME such as beds, lift chairs, wheelchairs, walkers, scooters, commodes, and supplies.
- Transport DME and supplies using a delivery van or truck to locations indicated on the delivery schedule.
- Assemble and install DME at Veteran homes.
- Provide patient with orientation and instruction on the proper use of equipment, responding to inquiries on equipment set-up and usage.
- Perform follow-up servicing of equipment in the field as necessary, performing minor repair of equipment as required.
- Pick up, unload, and disassemble returned equipment at the warehouse.
- Document tasks including obtaining signatures from Veterans upon delivery, complete driver log, and vehicle pre-trip and post-trip checklists.
- Assist in cleaning and disinfecting used equipment as needed.
- Perform daily vehicle maintenance and safety checks on assigned vehicles.
