Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Alignment Technician to join our team at BIG O TIRES - Sellersburg. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing alignments and fluid changes, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide fast and friendly service to customers, promoting sales through explaining the benefits of our services and products.
  • Communication: Maintain timely and professional communication with management, employees, vendors, and customers.
  • Maintenance: Keep the work area clean and organized, using company guidelines to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate vehicle lifts and other equipment needed to complete servicing tasks.
  • Quality Control: Utilize company checklists to ensure consistent adherence to policies, procedures, and expectations.
Requirements
  • Availability: Ability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed.
  • Reliability: Reliable transportation to work and ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to consistently operate a computer, printer, and alignment equipment, as well as safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to move and lift up to 75 pounds and remain in a stationary position for up to nine hours per shift.
  • Certifications: Ability to meet company requirements, including a successful pre-employment drug screening, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and criminal background check.
