Job Summary:

This position focuses on developing and implementing state-of-the-art planning and control algorithms for humanoid robots. You will be responsible for characterizing and improving the quality of robot locomotion and manipulation, collaborating with various teams, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing high-level locomotion and manipulation algorithms in C++
  • Simulating algorithms in software and integrating them into the robot platform
  • Collaborating with teams to ensure smooth robot behavior
  • Rigorous unit and integration testing of control algorithms and implementation
  • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate architecture and design documentation

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in implementing state-of-the-art model-based or model-free controls of dynamic legged robots
  • Strong understanding of robotics fundamentals such as kinematics, dynamics, controls, and estimation
  • Proficient in modern C++ and object-oriented programming in a Linux development environment
  • Experience with common robotics and controls packages such as ROS, URDF, MuJoCo, and Eigen
  • Strong technical communication skills
