Job Title: Dental Front Office Coordinator/Dental Assistant

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year (dependent on experience)

Job Description
  • Patient Interaction:
  1. Greet and check in patients with a welcoming demeanor.
  2. Schedule and confirm appointments via phone or office software.
  3. Address patient inquiries regarding treatments, policies, and procedures.
Administrative Duties:
  1. Maintain and update patient records.
  2. Collect payments and manage billing.
  3. Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and services.
Office Coordination:
  1. Coordinate with dental staff to manage patient flow.
  2. Order and manage office supplies.
  3. Ensure the reception area is clean and organized.
Technology Usage:
  1. Use dental practice management software for scheduling, billing, and patient records.
  2. Handle electronic filing and data entry.
Qualifications
  • Education: College or High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications in dental administration or billing are a plus).
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with dental terminology, insurance billing processes, and practice management software (e.g., Open Dental).
