About the Role

Cumming Group is seeking a highly skilled Contract Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our commercial contracts team, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contracts, from negotiation to administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Develop and implement effective contract management strategies to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Commercial Contract Negotiation: Negotiate commercial terms and conditions with clients and vendors, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Contract Administration: Manage contract documentation, including receipt and control of all contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, and status reports.
  • Client and Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Procurement and Contract Support: Assist in the procurement process, including vendor registration and management, and provide support for contract-related tasks.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain reports and analytics to track contract performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, law, or contracts.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract administration or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certifications: Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM), or Certified Contracts Professional Manager (CCPM) preferred.

Physical Demands

This role requires continuous sitting while using a computer and/or phone, as well as constant use of sight while reviewing documents. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when visiting a construction site.

Travel Requirements

This role requires domestic travel of 0-10% and international travel of 0-10%.
