At Global Medical Response, we are seeking a skilled Medical Care Coordinator RN to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in linking mobile resources together and coordinating care for patients across the healthcare continuum.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse with 5 years or more of experience in Emergency or Acute Care settings. You will be responsible for telephonic patient triage, navigating care based on evidence-based protocols, and educating patients about their health conditions.

You will also be working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care and education. Your strong communication skills and ability to work well with others will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Telephonically triage patients and navigate care based on evidence-based protocols
  • Patient education across the healthcare continuum
  • Telemonitoring activities engaging healthy patient behaviors
  • Effective communication with patients, caregivers, referral sources, physicians, and facility staff members
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively learn and use computer and required software programs
Requirements
  • Compact RN License
  • 5 years or more of RN experience in Emergency or Acute Care setting
  • Masters or Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or other relevant field
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Nursing skills as defined by generally accepted standards of practice
