Job Title: Clinical Performance Improvement Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Performance Improvement Consultant to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving clinical excellence and improving patient outcomes.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Performance Improvement Consultant will provide clinical leadership, direction, and consultation to improve treatment and care of patients with specific disease processes. This role will lead and facilitate the development, deployment, and monitoring of clinical quality improvement projects, patient safety improvement initiatives, and organization improvements to achieve top decile clinical outcomes and accelerate the achievement of clinical quality and safety goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides clinical expertise, performance improvement consultation, analysis, gap assessment, group/team facilitation, and development to support the dissemination of practices that result in improved clinical outcomes.
  • Leads and facilitates the development, deployment, and monitoring of clinical quality improvement projects, patient safety improvement initiatives, and organization improvements.
  • Consults and coaches process owners, value stream owners, paired leaders, and sponsors to drive clinical excellence and improve patient outcomes.
  • Contributes to the development and execution of training and infrastructures for the enterprise performance management system.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education/experience.
  • Specific training or experience in performance improvement.
  • 8 years recent relevant experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of healthcare delivery and quality improvement, including clinical care management and/or quality management.
  • Knowledge of lean performance improvement methodology and management systems.

Pay Range: $100.54 to $131.69 per hour. Sacramento Valley Pay Range: $87.43 to $114.51 per hour.
